How to change PHP settings from cPanel

Many of our new customers were facing difficulties while they were trying to change the PHP versions, enable/disable PHP extensions and change other PHP settings. 
This article is provided as a courtesy to our customers, to help them to successfully change all the PHP settings from their cPanel. Hope you will find it helpful.
Let’s get started.

Step 1:
Login to your cPanel. Then search by typing PHP, then click on Select PHP Version.


Step 2:
From the PHP Version drop-down, select your preferred PHP version.

Step 3:
Then click on Set as current.

Step 4:
As you have selected your preferred PHP version, now you also can activate your preferred PHP Extensions just by clicking on it. For demonstration purpose where we enabled timezonedb PHP extension by clicking on it.

Once the extension is enabled, you will get the success notification to the top right corner.

Step 5: Changing PHP Settings (Switch to PHP options)

You also can modify PHP settings as per your preference by clicking on the Switch to PHP options from the top right button (Highlighted in the screenshot).



Step 6:

On the next page, you can modify PHP settings as per your preference by tick mark at some options as well as selecting options from the drop-down.

Upon completion of each successful operation, you will get the success notification to the top right corner.
