The process of Forwarding / Redirecting a domain to another one is very easy. Still, many of our new customers were facing difficulties while trying to Forward / Redirect their domain(s) to another one. This article is provided as a courtesy to our customers, to help them forwarding / redirecting a domain to another. Hope you will find it helpful.
Let’s get started.
Login to your Client Area (Portal) using this link :
Input your registered email address and password then click on Login.
Click on Domains, then from the drop-down menu click on My Domains.
Here you will see all of your registered domains.
Now click on blank space (highlighted in the screenshot) right beside of the domain name that you want to forward/redirect to another domain.
Here you will get all the options to manage your domain. From the right sub-menus of Manage, click on the Nameservers option.
Click on the radio button for the option Use default nameservers and then click on the Change Nameservers button. This is very important and must do thing if you want to forward a domain to another one. Without this default nameservers the domain forwarding/redirection won’t work.
Now, from the right sub-menus of Manage, click on the DNS Management option. Then, add the required dns record to forward/redirect your domain in the below mentioned format and then click on the Save Changes button:
Record Type: URL Redirect
Address: Input the destination domain where your current (source) domain will be forwarder/redirect
For demonstration purpose, here in the screenshot we have shown example.com
Congrats! You have successfully configured your domain with dns record to forward/redirect to another domain. Please note that, depending on the dns propagation time it might take 20 minutes to 24 hours.
